These months are flying by way too fast for me to keep up with them. We’re one-third of the way into October and I’m just wrapping up September! How is this possible?!?! Before, I blink and it’s November, let’s take a look back at September.
Preschool – Minus the no-nap situation, preschool continues to be wonderful for Cecilia. She is excited to go to school each day and literally runs out the door to get in the car, then once we’re there, she runs to the playground. We have multiple paintings to take home every day and I love hearing about all of their activities. She also adores her teachers and talks about them all the time. Last week, we went on our first play date with her class and had a great time seeing the kids play together and getting to know one another.
A New Book Series – I started reading a new book series that I really like! It’s the Maggie Hope series by Susan Elia MacNeal. I read the first book a few weeks ago (review coming soon!) and am currently reading the second. They take place during World War II in London and they sucked me in. I love books set in London and anything having to do with the British Royal Family and the current book mixes both of those! Win!
Pumpkin Everything – Ever since pumpkin mania hit Trader Joe’s a few weeks back, I’ve been knee-deep in trying new things each week. We have definitely added some new favorites to our list and a post about those will be coming soon. If you want to try items, but don’t know where to start, you can check out past lists of my favorite Trader Joe’s pumpkin items here and here.
Beauty Counter – Have you tried any Beauty Counter products? I just started and have fallen in love with most everything I’ve tried. If you love them, too, tell me your faves! I’m on a skincare kick!
Less Daylight – Anyone else love that it’s getting darker earlier? Is it weird that I like it? I mostly love that it means cooler nights where I can light a pumpkin-scented candle, cozy up with a blanket and enjoy a good movie or book. I know it’s also weird to admit that I like this right now, because in a couple months I’m totally going to talk about how I love that it stays lighter longer.
What were your September faves?
