October 2017 was a crazy month! Here were my favorites…
Trick-or-Treating – Halloween was so much fun this year! I love how the holidays evolve from year-to-year with Cecilia growing and becoming more aware of what’s going on around her. We went trick-or-treating twice this year and my little one had a blast each time. Last year she was too shy to say “trick-or-treat” at each door, but this year she was so sure of herself and said it with enthusiasm each time. She also had very little fear when it came to scary decorations at most of the houses we went to. There were a few houses where I was sure she was going to freak, but she ended up being mesmerized instead. I’m so looking forward to the rest of the holiday season with her.
Pumpkin Patches – Along with trick-or-treating, Cecilia is also a HUGE fan of pumpkins and pumpkin patches. I think at our peak we had about 17 pumpkins in the house, but then some of them started to rot, so we’re down a few now. Today we passed by the pumpkin patch we went to a couple weeks ago and once she realized all the pumpkins were gone and so were the rides, she told me she was sad. She just loved that pumpkin patch!
Fall Weather – We’re FINALLY experiencing Fall weather here in San Diego. We’ve been teased with it a few days here and there throughout the past few months, but I think (and hope!) it’s here to stay now. So excited to break out my boots, sweaters and scarves!
Stroller Strides – October was filled with teaching Stroller Strides and Stroller Barre classes and I LOVED it!
Cecilia’s Imagination – Not only is our sweet girl growing in height, vocabulary and independence, she is also growing in imagination. The games she comes up with are incredible and I love watching her play as well as play alongside her.
