Well, looky here, folks! Another list of things I love from Trader Joe’s!
Before I get into my list, is that how you even spell “looky?”
Or is it “lookie?”
I have no clue, but you get it. This is a post (totally unsponsored) with another round of things I adore from my beloved TJs. I’m working on a massive post of the Trader Joe’s must-haves that will hopefully be coming soon. For now, I’m sharing my snacks items that are great for kids. In case you’re in need of more posts where I chat all things TJs, you can check out my favorite pumpkin items part one and part two and another post I wrote last year about my five favorite items at that time.
Okay, here we go…
Freeze Dried Strawberries – I’m a fan of MOST of the freeze dried fruit Trader Joe’s offers, but these are by far my favorite. Their texture and flavor are spot on. I’ve been feeding these to Cecilia since before her first birthday and she still loves them to this day. They dissolve fairly easily, but when she was really little, I’d break them into tiny pieces because I was completely neurotic like that. I totally snack on these, too.
Organic Unsweetened Applesauce – This is essentially just made of organic apples and water. It’s perfectly sweet without all the added sugar and Cecilia eats it as part of her lunch and I also put it in her favorite berry smoothie.
White Cheddar Corn Puffs – In other words, Pirate’s Booty. OMG, she could eat this all day long if I let her. I pretty much did let her eat it all day long when we had our big air travel days over the holidays and I swear it was a huge factor in why our travels were smooth. It’s another snack of hers that we totally eat, too.
Raw Almond Butter – I had never really had almond butter until I started giving it to Little C and, oh my gosh, I love it so much. I think I prefer it over peanut butter. I serve it to her on toast in the morning of with bananas or apples as a snack. YUM!
Honey Graham Crackers – I like these not only because they’re good and my child loves them, but because they don’t have the intense cinnamon sugar topping like other brands. I’m obviously not against cinnamon sugar, but I do watch the amount of added sugar she has and like that this one is sweet enough for her without the topping.
