We’re going on month three of my garden and it’s looking great.
Unfortunately, in December, I had to say goodbye to my beloved brussels sprouts. The seeds just weren’t growing and they took up so much space in my little plot, that I decided to re-plant with something more space-effective. So now along with my carrots, rosemary and basil, I now have onions!!!! Woohoo!
The onions are doing well so far, but I do have an animal of some sort that likes to run through the middle of my plot and do some digging. The other day, it took one of my onion plants with it, too. I was totally bummed, but since I’m not sure what type of animal it is, I’m not really sure what to do. I guess as long as it doesn’t take ALL of my plants, I’ll leave it be.
I just looked on the seed packets and my carrots should be ready to pull soon! The tops aren’t super big, so I may just pull one to see how it looks then decide what to do with the others from there. As you can tell, I’m a novice gardener, so send your gardening advice my way!
P.S. Sorry for the shadows in all the photos. I always go early in the morning and the scarecrow I inherited with my plot casts a shadow on my plants whenever I take pictures!
