How was your first December weekend of 2017? Tell me what you did!
This weekend we went to a neighborhood holiday parade and a holiday concert Travis was playing on Saturday and then had lots of family time and errand time yesterday. This week is CRAZY for Travis, so it was nice to soak up lots of time together since we won’t be seeing a lot of him this week.
I had my anatomy ultrasound last week and it was so nice to see our little guy on a big screen. He was being stubborn when it came to showing his face, but the tech was finally able to get some good shots near the end that I was able to bring home with me.
Is anyone else excited about season two of The Crown coming to Netflix on Friday???? We’re almost done re-watching Mad Men, so I think a re-watch of The Crown is in order next!
We are DEEP into a horse and Lego obsession in our house. Cecilia basically has to buy every toy horse she sees and plays with her Legos all day long. This is the most she’s ever been obsessed with something and it’s fun for us to watch and see it evolve.
We have some time before and after our trip to the Bay Area where Travis is off of work, so we’ve decided to go through and de-clutter/organize our house. It’s something I’ve been wanting to do for a while now and it will be nice to have done once the baby comes this Spring.
I’m in one of those moods where checking Twitter just depresses me. Anyone else? I want to be surrounded by happy news, but at the same time still stay informed. I feel like it’s hard to do both right now.
One thing that IS making me happy is my upcoming trip to Disneyland with my sister and Cecilia! We’re going in a couple of weeks I couldn’t be more excited! It will be Cecilia’s second trip, but when we went last summer she’d never seen a Disney movie. Now she’s all about her Disney movies, so I think she will totally freak. EEK!
When I was pregnant with Cecilia, I switched all of our cleaning products to Honest Company products and with this pregnancy, I’ve started switching all of my beauty products to BeautyCounter. If you haven’t tried them, I HIGHLY suggest it. I have noticed an INCREDIBLE difference in my skin since I’ve started using their products and I love that they are all about safer skincare products for men, women and kids. If you haven’t tried them, you can check them out here! I promise you won’t be disappointed! (DISCLAIMER: this is a holiday referral link and for every new customer I refer to make a purchase between now and December 15th, I get a small merchandise credit).
Have a great week!
