Hi! How did your weekend treat you?
Travis had a crazy weekend filled with lots of work stuff, so it was mostly Cecilia and I hanging out together. She turns three next month and has DEFINITELY been acting like a threenager lately. Seriously, the things that have been coming her mouth, while priceless, have shocked me. I’ve seen glimpses of what my life will be like when she’s 14 and thinks that I’m her annoying and bossy mom.
Earlier in the week we went to a local neighborhood to check out their Christmas lights. They were incredible! One house had their lights choreographed to music that you could pick from a box outside. Very impressive and Cecilia loved it so much, she made us walk around the neighborhood twice.
Did you check out last week’s post about my favorite movies to watch during the holiday season? What are your faves? Tell me, tell me!
This Friday, Cecilia and I are going to DISNEYLAND! At this point, I’m more excited than she is because I don’t think she remembers her first trip there. I love Disneyland with all of the holiday decorations and I know she is going to LOSE HER MIND. EEK!!!!
Have you been watching The Crown? I finished re-watching season one on Saturday and now I’m on episode four of season two. While the drama is different from last season, there is no shortage of it. I think I’ve decided, though, that I’m not a big fan of binge-watching new shows. I kind of like that anticipation during the week while you wait for a new episode, even though the instant gratification is fun, too. I’m obviously not going to stop bingeing on new shows (can anyone actually do that?), but I just thought I’d put it out there. Anyone agree?
We leave for our holiday travels next week, so that means I’m going to go into major cleaning mode this week. I already have a “to clean” list for before we leave and when we get back. We’ll have some time at home before Travis has to go back to work, so we’re going to use it to do a deep purge of our closets. I can’t wait!
How are you coming on your holiday gift-buying? I started off great, but have faltered the last week, so I’ve got to get back on the horse! I’m determined to finish while Cecilia is at preschool this week!
Have a fantastic week!
