How was your weekend? This weekend marked the beginning of my husband’s spring break, so we had lots of family time and did a lot of relaxing. Ahhh…
Have you seen this Tom Hanks video? I LOVED it. I realized while watching it that I’ve seen a TON o’ Tom Hanks movies and pretty much liked them all. I could watch this over and over again.
This week, Cecilia and I are going to our first Stroller Strides class! It will be my first time working out since she was born (besides our daily walks around the neighborhood), so I’m a little scared, but mostly excited. I’m looking forward to meeting new moms and babies and hopefully make some friends for the two of us! I’ll let you know next week how it went.
I haven’t gotten a haircut since early September and I’m totally due. I have an appointment this week and I can’t wait for a new ‘do! While I was pregnant, I swear not one hair came out of my head in the shower or while I was brushing. Because of that I have SO MUCH and something needs to be done about this mess. My hair is also super long right now and the baby is starting to grab it when I have it down. She’s little, but she’s strong, and it can be painful so I’m looking to go a lot shorter.
Also about my haircut – the gal who’s cut my hair for the last few years just had a baby girl in November, so I’m sure all we’ll talk about is our kids and I can’t wait. Talking babies is my current favorite topic of conversation 🙂
Any Easter plans? We don’t have any as of yet, but my husband generally worked Sundays in the past, but this year he doesn’t so I’d love to cook up a great Easter meal for us. I’m currently brainstorming recipes, so if you have any suggestions, let me know!
Even though Cecilia has no idea what’s going on this Easter, I bought her this basket and this basket liner (personalized with her name of course). You can find a picture of it on my Instagram. Call me crazy, but I’m also going to buy things to fill it with, and then, of course, open them all up myself and pretend she’s really excited about it.
Do you have go-to shows that you’ve already watched in their entirety, but that you go back and binge watch on Netflix? My shows are Gilmore Girls, Mad Men and The West Wing. I’m currently binge watching Gilmore Girls for the billionth time.
Speaking of Mad Men – less than one week until the premiere! Eek! It’s bittersweet since this is the last season, but I’m looking forward to see how the series ends.
