Pumpkin everything is everywhere at the grocery stores (I’m looking at YOU, Trader Joe’s) and in my house and I LOVE it. Just in the photo above there are Pumpkin O’s, pumpkin bread (see more about it below), and banana pumpkin baby puffs!
It was 90+ degrees here in San Diego this weekend. Even though I’m eating all things pumpkin right now, it’s hard to be totally head over heels for Fall right now when I’m still wearing shorts and tank tops and my AC is on full blast. Womp, womp, womp.
Okay, one more pumpkin-related musing this week then I’ll stop —- I made this pumpkin chocolate chip bread last week and it’s my new fave! I’ve got five loaves in the freezer!
One of my new favorite nights of the week is movie night with my husband. After the baby goes to sleep, I whip up some yummy appetizers and popcorn and we watch a movie together in our living room. We switch who gets to pick the movie each time and so far we’ve watched Age of Adaline, Kingsman: The Secret Service and Pitch Perfect 2.
Besides movie night, another highlight of my week is music class with Cecilia. We’ve been going the past six weeks and I’ve already signed us up for the next session that will take us through the holidays. She absolutely loves playing with all of the different instruments and interacting with the other kids in class.
I know I’ve written about this before, but I’m obsessed with the HGTV show Fixer Upper. Seriously, I want to move to Waco just so Chip and Joanna can design my house.
Barefoot Contessa and America’s Test Kitchen are on Netflix. My evenings are now complete.
