Happy Monday! How was your holiday???? Did you eat your weight in food? I hope you all had a wonderful time with your favorite people. We spent most of last week in Santa Fe with lots and lots of family. Cecilia absolutely loved all the extra attention and it was great to see her interact with so many family members who don’t get to see her all that often since we don’t live near 95% of our family.
On our way back from Santa Fe, my husband and I realized that traveling, now that we have a small child, feels like such an accomplishment. We seriously high-fived to a job well done on the way home from the airport.
Have you seen this 10-month-old’s letter to Santa? I swear almost every single one of these items is on Cecilia’s list.
Have you scored any great holiday deals so far? I haven’t done any shopping, but may take advantage of Cyber Monday deals today. Remember if you need any gift tips for the food lover/home cook on your list, I’ve posted part one of my holiday gift guide and I have more coming, so keep checking back!
If you follow me on Instagram, you may have seen a couple of weeks back that I made salt dough ornaments with Cecilia’s hand and footprint. Since a lot of you have asked how I did it, you can find the instructions (including the recipe for the salt dough) I used here.
While I made Christmas ornaments, I’m still a bit on the fence about actually getting a tree this year. I selfishly want one for myself because I love staring at it all day, but am a little afraid about what my child might do to it. She crawls so fast and pulls up on EVERYTHING that I’m afraid if I turn my head for one second she’s going to pull on the tree and we’ll have a big mess on our hands. What do you think? Yay or nay?
I’m on a holiday movie binge-watching mood! What are your favorites? I need more recommendations!
I hope you all have a great week!
