How was your weekend? Did you do anything fun? We had a fun family happy hour in our neighborhood Friday (see the photo above), relaxed on Saturday and went to the New Children’s Museum on Sunday. Cecilia had a blast in one of the exhibits and accidentally got kicked in the face by another kid in another one. I guess it’s all about balance…
On Saturday night my husband and I did a living room movie night and watched The Way, Way Back. Have you seen it? The cast is wonderful and I thought the movie was good, too. I recommend it!
Early in the week, I totally pulled a muscle in my shoulder. I have no idea how, but I can’t bear any weight on it now and lifting Cecilia is incredibly difficult. I don’t think it’s anything serious, but since I’m constantly chasing after an almost toddler, resting it is out of the question.
Follow up to one of my mentions last week – I scheduled my oral surgery consult for Wednesday…and I’m sooooooo dreading it.
This Thursday my baby turns ONE! How is that possible? I’m so excited for this week and can’t believe how quickly it’s sprung up. This is honestly been the fastest, most rewarding, most stressful, most exhausting and most wonderful year of my life.
Cecilia’s party is this Sunday at a park and I’ve been obsessively checking the weather. And I don’t mean I check it every few days, I mean I’ve checked it every 2-3 hours since the day has been included in the extended 14-day forecast. I have about six weather sites I check multiple times a day. One says 60% rain for party day and the others say 30ish%. One specifically mentions, though, that the rain won’t be until late in the day. I’m crossing my fingers that it doesn’t rain (of course!) or if it does it holds off until after 2pm. Seriously, the heavens can open up and pour down after that, just no rain for party time!
How have you been liking Downton so far? I’m loving it (especially last week’s wedding episode) and will be so sad to see it go!
