How was your weekend? I feel like all these weeks and weekends are mushing together and going way too fast for me! I know everyone is saying this, but how the heck is it March?!?!?
Did you watch the Oscars? I had this moment of panic right before Leo’s name was announced that he wasn’t going to win and there was going to be an audible gasp by everyone in the room and that I’d just start crying. Thank goodness he won (finally!) and we got to see his pretty self make a wonderful speech from the stage.
Did you have a favorite dress last night? I feel like I didn’t see very many I liked, but the only one I can remember liking was Naomi Watts, so I’ll just peg her as my favorite.
Can I take it back a week and talk about the most recent Downton episode? I think it was my favorite of all time. I wanted to throw darts at Lady Mary about half way through (if you watch, I’m sure you know what part I’m talking about) and then I wanted to just give Branson a big ol’ hug. So sad there’s only one episode left! Fingers crossed we finally see Lady Edith happy!
Did you watch any Fuller House on Netflix this weekend? I thought I was just going to check it out and watch the first episode, but my nostalgia, curiosity and sappiness sucked me in and watched SIX episodes! The show’s not going to win any awards, but it was good nap time entertainment for me this weekend.
Snag up all the daffodils at Trader Joe’s right now! 10 stems for $1.49! How can you beat that? Granted they don’t last a long time, but they really do brighten up any table or room. I had mine in a mason jar on my kitchen table all last week and they just made me smile. Awwww…
You all know I love me some Fixer Upper, so I really enjoyed reading this article. I was happy to find out that Chip and Jo are just as lovely in person as they are on screen, but sad to find out you don’t become BFFs with them and hang out after the show has wrapped. Oh well. That show still makes me want to move to Waco and have them fix up my house.
Have a great week!
