How was your weekend?!?! What fun and exciting things did you do? Tell me!
Last week the weather was so Fall-like and it made me really excited. This weekend we reverted back to our typical Indian summer we have here in San Diego at it was in the high 80s to low 90s. This week is calling for more of the same. I feel like Fall was in my hand and then just slid away 🙁
While the weather still makes summer feel like it’s still alive and kicking, it’s beginning to feel a little bit like Fall because the first pumpkin items are starting to hit the shelves at my local Trader Joe’s. ACK! I bought two boxes of Pumpkin O’s and am awaiting the arrival of their pumpkin pancake mix (because it’s the best thing ever).
Oh, the pumpkins also arrived at Trader Joe’s and I bought Cecilia her first one of the season. EEK!
I bought some of the infamous rosé gummy bears this weekend. They are delightful to enjoy with a glass of rosé and I felt like such a lady doing so 🙂
This week we are touring our first pre-school for Cecilia! How is that even possible?!?! She won’t start until next Fall, but the pre-school scene is super competitive here in San Diego and she’s already on five wait lists.
The Gilmore Girls re-boot is just a smidgen over two months away from making it’s debut. How excited are you on a scale from 1-10? I think I’m a 52.
Did you catch the reading update I shared with you last week? I still really love my new book and am quickly making my way through it. What are you reading now?
Did you catch Michelle Obama co-hosting Ellen last week? I think I was laughing the entire hour and absolutely loved their segment at CVS.
Speaking of Ellen, I think my one billionth request for tickets was rejected AGAIN. While I may be exaggerating the one billion thing, I’ve tried to get tickets at least five times each season since I’ve lived in Southern California (11 years). The way their ticket system works, you can’t submit a new request for tickets until your previous one was rejected (this happens two weeks before the requested date). If that system wasn’t in place I’m sure I’d request tickets every single morning. Woe is me.
I hope you have a wonderful week ahead!
