Hi! How did you spend your first weekend in October? Tell me, tell me!
I continue to buy all things pumpkin at Trader Joe’s. I bought two new things during my trip yesterday and was going to buy more, but Travis held me back and told me I had to finish all the pumpkin things I had already bought before I got more. Pumpkin party pooper 🙁
We’re making our first pumpkin patch visit of the season this week with our Stroller Strides friends. So far when Cecilia has seen pumpkins at the grocery store, she has gone nuts and wants to pick them all up and take them with her. I can’t wait to see how she’ll react to all the pumpkins at the patch. We went to two patches last year, but she was only eight months old, so most of it completed fazed her.
We’ve been on a smoothie kick lately (mostly because it was like 100 degrees here last week) and I can’t wait to share our favorite smoothie recipe with you this week! It’s Cecilia’s favorite and it’s so good!
Since it was so warm last week, we took a couple of trips to Barnes & Noble to capitalize on the free (to us) air conditioning. Cecilia LOVES the train set they have at the one we frequent, so we traded in some of her toys at a local used toy store and got her some wooden train track and a few trains. She has been so crazy playing with them the last few days and even insisted on sleeping with one of her trains the night we got them.
Did you catch my review of It Ends With Us by Colleen Hoover last week? If not, check it out and start reading that book! Then come back here and talk to me about it, okay?
Have a great week!
