How was your weekend? Was it filled with spooky parties? Tell me!
What are your plans for tonight? Handing out candy? Going trick-or-treating? We plan on taking Cecilia out to a few houses in the neighborhood then handing out candy at our place.
Cecilia has already dressed up for Halloween three times and she’ll do it another two times today. The first two times she dressed up in my old Dorothy costume I wore when I was little and the third time was her actual costume. Last year she was a Cabbage Patch Kid and this year she is going to be Lucy Ricardo. She looks fabulous in her costume and I can’t wait for everyone to see it.
Last week was rough for me! I wrenched my neck and shoulder and ended up setting up an emergency massage and doctor appointment. The pain was so intense even just sitting down and “relaxing” that it brought me to tears. This coupled with the fact that my 7-7:30am waker-upper of a daughter woke up anywhere from 5:30-6am all last week was not a good combo for this mama. Hopefully things will start to look up this week because I could sure use a break!
Is anyone else with a toddler dreading the time change this weekend? I normally wouldn’t, but since our girl has been waking up an hour earlier than normal this past week, I’m afraid of what Sunday morning will bring. We already plan on making bedtime a little later each night this week, but I’m still terrified. Cross your fingers!
What did you think of the official Gilmore Girls trailer? While I’ve said it here countless times that I’m so excited to see the new episodes, I’m also a little nervous it’s going to be like the Sex and the City movies and that they’re going to try too hard to fit so much stuff in and/or that the characters will feel a little unauthentic (or is it inauthentic?). What do you think?
On the same note, I loved this article about the trailer and the “secrets” they uncovered by watching the trailer frame-by-frame. Intrigue! 🙂
Not only did I watch the Gilmore Girls trailer on repeat last week, but I also watched the latest carpool karaoke with Lady Gaga a couple of times and Tom Hanks chatting with the Zoltar machine from Big. It was a big YouTube week for me!
I hope you have a fantastic week and a safe (and spooky!) Halloween! ?
