Hi! How was your first November weekend? What did you do?
How was your Halloween?!?! Cecilia loved trick-or-treating once she got the hang of it and couldn’t wait to run up to each house and ring the bell. Everything is about 1000 times better and more fun with her and I can’t wait for next Halloween and the upcoming holidays!
P.S. Doesn’t it seem like Halloween was so long ago? Or is that just me?
As you can tell from the picture above, we went to the zoo this weekend! One exciting thing that happened while we were there was that Cecilia’s shoe fell into the koala exhibit! She loves to hang from anything she can and she was doing just that when her shoe got caught and fell in. Thankfully we were able to find a kind keeper who got a really long pole with pinchers at the end to save her pink jelly! Whew!
How is the end of daylight savings time treating you so far? Are you a fan of the early darkness? Cecilia woke up around 6am, which was nice because I was expecting a 5am wakeup call. She took an awful nap yesterday afternoon, but I’m hoping she adjusts well (and quickly) to the time change.
So, you know how last week I posted my favorite cold weather dinners and mentioned how it was getting cooler in San Diego? Well, Mother Nature must be having a good laugh at my expense because it’s supposed to be in the high 80s here this week. BOO! I want my Fall (for San Diego) weather back!
I finished my 15th book of the year yesterday and I can’t wait to tell you about it later this week! I finished the last half of the book in one day (it was that good!) and can’t wait to start my next book!
Speaking of books, THREE books that I’ve been waiting for for months are coming out this month. Two of them are even coming out the same day! If you need me between now and December, I’ll have my nose in a book 🙂
Of course you know that tomorrow is Election Day, so remember to VOTE!
