How was your weekend? Tell me what you did!
Is it freezing where you are? It has been raining most days here since we’ve been home from our holiday travels. We definitely need it, though, so it’s been a nice change of weather and allows us to have cozy days inside.
One cozy, inside thing we’ve been doing (besides watching Disney movies) is baking! What are your favorite inside activities with toddlers?
I think my house looks super sad now that it’s been de-Christmasfied. I always put up a bunch of fall decorations, too, so it hasn’t looked this “plain” since September. My mantle and stairwell look the most sad of all, so I may have to make/find some new decor.
Although all our Christmas decorations are gone, our Christmas cards we received are still up. Honestly, they stay up until March because we love looking at them so much. We get 40-50 cards each year, so it really makes a difference when they’re gone and I just can’t handle getting rid of that last bit of the holidays yet.
On Saturday, Cecilia and I went to a parent-child hip hop class with some friends of ours. Mostly it was a run-around-in-a-circle class for Cecilia while I danced. Afterward, we tried out a new-to-us coffee shop that we fell in love with. YAY!
Cecilia is turning TWO in less than two weeks and I can’t believe it. Where have these last two years gone?!?!?
Last year we planned on having her party at a nearby park, but it got rained out so we changed our plans a few days beforehand and had her first birthday party at our old apartment. Since we’re now in the range to check and see what the weather will be like that day, I’ve been checking it non-stop. So far, no rain is forecasted, so I hope that stays that way!
Have a great week!
