Happy Monday! How was your weekend? What fun and exciting things did you do?
Our weekend was low key. Cecilia and I met up with our good pals at a playground on the bay Saturday morning, Travis and I went out for a date night Saturday night, then Sunday was a casual day of exercising, grocery shopping and Facetiming with family.
Travis and I went on a date night Saturday to celebrate our sixth anniversary which was that day. The photo of the flowers above is a shot of one of our centerpieces from our wedding. I absolutely loved all of my flowers! We can’t believe how fast it’s gone by and that this time six years ago we were jetting off to Italy!
It looks like this summer Travis and I will be making our way back to Italy with Cecilia. He will be teaching at a summer festival in Acqui Terme and Cecilia and I are planning on joining him. It will be our first international vacay with a toddler, so I’m nervous, but excited to show her Italy. We’re going to a region I’ve never been to before, so I’m looking forward to exploring it with my little family.
In preparation for the travel, Cecilia and I had to go to the passport office this week so I could update my name and she could apply for hers. The whole photo process was pretty dramatic on her end, but we were finally able to get a shot that worked.
Yesterday I went on my second solo run since Cecilia was born. I run a lot at Stroller Strides and I’ve done a few runs with her in the stroller, but getting in some solo running has been difficult to coordinate. The playlist I have on my phone was from when I last ran the Nike Women’s Marathon in 2013 and the music was so dated for me. It’s crazy what got me pumped up almost four years ago! I’m on a mission to revamp my list this week, so send me your suggestions for running songs!
What are you watching on TV right now? I’ve gotten back into watching Dateline and I’ve been watching Jane the Virgin, Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Vanderpump Rules and This is Us.
I really have to be in a certain mood to watch This is Us because I know I’m going to get all sorts of emotional. Anyone else feel that way? I still haven’t watched the last episode all the way through because I watched the end of it and know I need to prepare myself to watch what leads up to it.
Have a great week!
