Stitch Fix is my new addiction. Have you heard of it? It’s a personal styling service that delivers clothes right to your doorstep! That’s right, no trips to the busy mall, no lines and no searching through racks. Just pieces of clothes Stitch Fix stylists think will look great on you.
Here’s how to it works –
Visit www.stitchfix.com and fill out your style profile.
This is where the stylists begin to get to know you, your style, your body type and budget and this is the information they’ll use to pick out your perfect pieces.
Schedule your Fix.
Stitch Fix has totally blown up and you may have to wait a couple of weeks for your fix, but it is well worth the wait! They’re working as hard as they can to keep up with demand and make your fix as perfect for you as possible. If you’re looking for something specific, you can let them know when you schedule your fix and they’ll hook you up! For example, if you’re looking something to wear to a wedding, or on an upcoming vacation, just let them know and they’ll send you what you need!
Try your pieces on and send back what you don’t like.
Once your fix arrives you have three days to try everything on and send back what you don’t want. This is the great part because you have time to think about what you want to keep and send back. You can try things on as many times as you want, try them on with your own jewelry and shoes and see what things you have in your closet to make that perfect outfit before you make your final decision. No more making a quick decision in the five minutes you have in the dressing room or having to make another trip to the mall if you buy it and decide you don’t want it. Take your time and make the right decision! Also, sending things back is super easy – just pop it in the envelope they send you and leave it for the mail carrier!
It costs $20 for Stitch Fix to send you a Fix. This is applied to anything that you buy in that fix. If you purchase all five items they send you, you get 25% off! WIN, WIN! Unfortunately if you don’t buy any of the items, you’re out the $20 fee, but I’ve never had it happen where I didn’t like everything and had to send it all back.
The first fix I got I was a bit skeptical and wasn’t a huge fan of what I was sent (I only kept a necklace). Good news is, if you don’t like anything, you’re able to leave them detailed feedback and they actually pay attention! Since then, I’ve gotten the CUTEST things and have kept 2-3 items each time. My new favorite jeans were sent to me from Stitch Fix and so were two of my current favorite necklaces. There was also one dress I kept from my last fix that I NEVER would have tried on if I saw it on a hanger because I would have never thought it would have looked good on me, but it was ADORABLE and now it hangs in my closet 🙂
Interested in trying Stitch Fix?
Give it a whirl! Start with one Fix and if you love it, you can have them sent monthly or just schedule one whenever you feel like it! It’s up to you!
I have a Fix scheduled to come tomorrow so stay tuned to see what I got/keep!
Disclosure: I was not paid by Stitch Fix to write this post, but if you click on one of the links above and sign up, I do receive a referral credit to buy more cute new clothes. I’m not sure if that’s a good or bad thing 🙂
