I’m trying really hard to not wear workout clothes all day, so ordering up another Stitch Fix was one way to jumpstart the wardrobe.
I can’t tell you how excited I was when the box arrived at my door step.
Here’s what I got…
#1 London Times Maebe Jersey Maxi Dress
Y’all. This is my new favorite dress. I was so giddy when I pulled this out of the box and then when I tried it on and it fit so well, I got even giddier. I love the print and that it’s so comfortable. I cannot wait to wear this out! THE DECISION: Kept. Duh.
#2 Skies are Blue Alnwick Embroidery Detail Knit Tank Top
I loved the color and the simple detail of this top. At first wear, I totally thought I was going to keep it, but then I thought about it and tried it on again and decided against it. While it was comfortable and could definitely be dressed up or down, it was just too boxy for my taste and gave me absolutely zero shape. THE DECISION: Sent back.
#3 Loveappella Leece Embroidery Knit Top
There were so many things I loved about this top. I loved the coral and turquoise colors together and this top had a super cute peplum back. The sizing for me was just a tiny bit off and (you can’t tell this from the picture) from the front the peplum made my hips look much wider than they actually are. I wanted it to be perfect, but it just fell short. THE DECISION: Reluctantly, sent back.
#4 Loveappella Torina Embroidery Detail Knit Top
I loved the color and embroidery detail of this top, but it was almost a dress on me. If I would have been wearing shorts, you wouldn’t have even been able to see them because this shirt was too long for me. I was so bummed because it fit well otherwise, but needed to be about six inches shorter for my taste. THE DECISION: Sent back.
#5 41Hawthorn Montgomery Cross Front Knit Top
I was a fan of the cross front on this top, but just like the last shirt it was way too long for me – even to wear with leggings. Sad. THE DECISION: Sent back.
Well, there you have it. I only kept 1/5 items, but the one that I kept, I absolutely L-O-V-E. Even though I’m not always successful with fixes, I still really enjoy getting each box and will continue to request fixes in the future!
Disclosure: I was not paid by Stitch Fix to write this post, but if you click on one of the links above and sign up, I do receive a referral credit to buy more cute new clothes. I’m not sure if that’s a good or bad thing
