Another month, another Bluum Box!
This month I received an email from the company letting me know that our box would be a bit late due to some issues on their end. I checked the new tracking info they sent me and my package was supposed to arrive after the Memorial Day weekend and surprisingly was delivered before! What a fun surprise! One thing, though, is that I noticed it wasn’t boxed as nicely as the last two months. Things looked like they were just thrown into the box versus care being taken, but everything was still in working order and that’s just a small gripe on my end. If this were my first box, I would have been a little disappointed by it, so hopefully things will be back on track for them next month.
Okay, here are the goodies we received this month!
Zoe B Organics – Orthodontic Pacifier
This pacifier looks great. Unfortunately, my girl is already hooked on the type of pacifiers we’ve been giving her since she was about five weeks old. If this would have come a bit sooner (when C was a little younger), I would have loved to give this a try!
Re-Play – Teether Keys
We are teething central in our house right now (read: there is drool everywhere and everything goes in Cecilia’s mouth), so these we will definitely add these to the lot of teethers we have! What I like about these (you can see this info on the tag above) is that they’re made from recycled milk jugs and even the tag is made from recycled materials. As a kid, I remember having a pair of plastic keys that I LOVED carrying around with me to pretend like I was a “big kid,” so I’m sure she’ll get some use out of these long after she uses them as a teether.
Dreambaby – Bath Thermometer
I don’t have one of these, so this will come in handy at bath time. This was the “for me” item this month, which I understand since I’ll be using it, but selfish me would love if the product was just for me. And not for me, for the baby. Is that wrong? My first box, the “for me” item was a great moisturizer, so I was expecting something solely for me each month.
Parragon Books – Finger Puppet Baa Baa Black Sheep
OMG, Cecilia LOVES this book. I read it to her twice the day we got it and she started crying and looking for it when I stopped! She’s never done that before with anything! Needless to say, I’ve read this book about a gajillion times since. I move the little sheep around when I read it, I read it in a funny voice and I make the little sheep kiss and tickle her. It’s darling.
Wellements – Pure Lotion
I haven’t used this lotion yet, but all of the ingredients (listed clearly on the back of the container) are all organic or natural. I already have a lotion that I use on dry patches of Cecilia’s skin, but I’m totally down with trying this one, too.
Overall, I was happy with this month’s box. I know that we’ll use quite a few things from it and I found some great new companies, which is the goal. The box was valued at just under $40 and I paid $23 with my 3-month subscription. I’m going to give it another 3-month shot to see how it goes, so we’ll see you here again next month! Disclosure: I was not paid by Bluum Box to write this post, but if you click on one of the links above and sign up for three or more months, I do receive a referral credit toward future monthly boxes. All opinions are my own.
